4th in the World in 2025 🌍💥
They say 4th place is the worst an athlete can get — but not for me, not after the rollercoaster of the last three seasons.
Since finishing 2nd overall in 2022, it’s been a constant battle:
👉Broken hand (operated on twice in 1.5 years)
👉 Broken foot (for the 3rd time!)
👉 Torn meniscus & quad
👉Tumor removal surgery complications and months of recovery
Every year meant starting from scratch and rebuilding my strength. Then, in early 2025, my Dad was diagnosed with cancer — turning this season into the toughest fight yet.
Between last-minute flights and hospital visits, tough luck in constantly losing heats by a hair:
⚡️ In Chile, I missed the final by 0.2 points
⚡️ In Pozo, I lost by 0.04
⚡️ In Tenerife, I lost by 0.6 points after not finding a second wave (no jumps were counted for women despite strong 4.2 wind),
I made it back onto the podium in Sylt and into the Top 4 overall after two injury-packed seasons outside the Top 10. And I’m stoked.
Huge thanks to everyone who cheered me on through all kinds of battles, on and off the water ❤️
And to my sponsors — @northwindsurfing @mysticboarding @flikkaboards — for keeping me flying!
