🥉3rd at the World Cup Sylt 🍾🥳

There’s only one Sylt! Until you’ve been ‚Sylted’, you don’t know how brutal this place can be 😅 Definitely the toughest sailing I’ve ever done anywhere — but also one of the most special. I love the yearly Sylt challange 🤩

Super happy to be back on the podium after 3 years when I battled through: a broken hand (twice operated, still metal inside 😅), broken foot, broken meniscus, torn quad muscle, and even a tumor removal surgery - just making it back on the water in time for most of the events. Plus a tough half year with my Dad’s illness… so this one means a lot 🙏

Huge congrats to @soldegrieck for her first win, @linaerpenstein for 2nd, and @pauline__katz for making the final 🔥 Honored to battle with you all!

Big up to the top guys too — what a storm chase today! Especially my teammate @miguelitochapuis for his first ever podium 🥳🍾

Massive thanks to my coach @dr_windsurf for his help here and year round, to @maciekrutko (who also got 3rd in slalom 💪🇵🇱) for caddying and running FAST 🔥 , and to the organisers and most of all the crowd for so many years of epic Sylt energy and showing up in big numbers whatever the weather 🙌 Danke schön und Auf Wiedersehen!
